Amyx on PSS Team for NOAA AGO

August 2, 2010 – Amyx, Inc. is part of the Preferred Systems Solutions, Inc.’s (PSS) team selected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisition and Grants (AGO) to provide acquisition and grants management support through its regional acquisition divisions.  The PSS/Amyx team is one of only three teams to receive an award for this work  

NOAA’s AGO acquisition office manages all phases of the acquisition lifecycle from procurement planning to contract closeout and similarly AGO’s grants management division manages all phases of the grant lifecycle, from planning through award to execution oversight to closeout.  Under this contract, the PSS/AGO team will have the opportunity to provide acquisition planning, solicitation development, evaluation, award assistance, and post award oversight. The grants assistance services will include grants administration guidance and support, maintaining official award files, assistance in preparing and administering financial awards IAW applicable statutes, analysis of proposed budget, compliance, adherence and recommendations. 

This work will support NOAA’s Western, Central and Eastern regions, with targeted focus in Maryland (Silver Spring; Goddard Space Flight Center), Virginia (Norfolk), Kansas (Kansas City), Mississippi (Stennis Space Center), Colorado (Boulder), and Washington (Seattle).
