DLA Awards Amyx the Common Food Management System PMO Support Contract

September 2010  The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) awarded Amyx a 3-year Program Management Office (PMO) support contract to provide Requirements Management Support; Technical Design Support; Application Support; Integration Support; Testing, Deployment and Sustainment Support; Business Process Re-engineering; Systems Engineering; Configuration and Risk Management Support; and Financial and Administrative Support. The DLA Common Food Management System (CFMS) provides support to over 1600 dining facilities at more than 500 global military locations via custom-designed software applications that interface with individual Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine food management systems. Amyx’s PMO support for CFMS will also add retail support functionality and will replace the individual service systems with a common system to be fielded to all DLA military locations.
