Change of Leadership sparks bright future for Amyx, Inc.

Alexandria, VA, August 1, 2011 – Current Chief Executive Officer and President, Scott Amey, will step down from his current role as he transitions into a new phase of his career as Chairman of the Board for Amyx, Inc.  Under Amey’s leadership, since January 2008, Amyx has doubled in revenue and number of employees and won a gamut of awards including being listed in 2009 and 2010 on the Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest growing private companies.  Amyx, Inc. was also ranked in 2008, 2010 and 2011 amongst the Top Small Businesses in Virginia and Top Small Businesses in the United States,  Amey has left a commendable impact on the company.  In Amey’s absence, current Chief Operating Officer and founder and former CEO of AC Technologies, Inc. (ACT), Satya Akula, will serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer.  Current Vice President of Defense Programs, Steven “Bulldog” Frazier, will serve as the Chief Operating Officer.
