September 1, 2010 – Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters, Information Operations (J-6) has awarded Amyx, Inc. a 12-month task with a 6-month option to perform IT Benchmarking assessments for 4 to 6 DLA organizations.  These assessments will evaluate current IT practices against the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework to determine the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of IT services delivered at these DLA sites.  This task will result in a better understanding of the span of DLA’s IT operations across the Enterprise, identification of best practices and processes for DLA-wide implementation, and increased adherence to DoD and DLA policies.

As part of this task, Amyx, Inc. will facilitate the definition of customer requirements and perform the implementation of a Microsoft SharePoint site that will host a searchable best-practice process library, automated pre-assessment questionnaires, milestone tracking capability, and best practice rating and selection capability.
