Reston, VA – November 25, 2021 – Thanksgiving is an American tradition that predates the signing of the U.S. Constitution by over 100 years. Tomorrow, we observe a day that binds us all together and it is a time where we reflect on our blessings and give thanks. This past year and a half has undoubtedly been a challenging time for so many people across the country and world. I’m thankful that this year offers many of us the ability to share in fellowship with each other again and gather with family and friends.
As I reflect on this year, I am thankful for the Amyx employees who work relentlessly every day to support our customers. With all the kudos and appreciation messages that we receive, our employees are the bedrock that defines Amyx’s corporate culture of being a trusted partner for our clients’ and their missions. I am also appreciative of our military and federal customers who are dedicated to serving our Nation.
One notable Thanksgiving occurred in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1621. Over a hundred colonists faced a harsh winter and starvation. In an offer of goodwill, Native Americans of the Wamponoag tribe extended a friendly hand that enabled the colonists to survive their first Winter in the new land. This virtue of giving is a key part of Amyx’s mission which is to advance the wellbeing of the communities in which we work. We have dedicated hundreds of hours volunteering in our local communities and I am thankful for that.
On behalf of Amyx’s senior leadership team, I would like to wish all our employees, our customers, and our partners a Happy Thanksgiving.
Bill
